Lovely 2 bedroom flat near to Liverpool St

Positive: Great location, 5 min walk from Liverpool station.. The owners responded quickly to any queries we had. Hot water in the shower. Negative: Very claustrophobic bathroom. Dust inside kitchen cupboards. Crumbs/rubbish by the beds in one of the bedrooms. Wobbly bannister on the stairs leading up to the flat which was on 2nd floor.

I’m afraid the flat was in a terrible state curtains hanging off the rail mismatch furniture bathroom sink that wouldn’t Positive: Location was great Negative: The door lock was broken. Fixtures and fittings Ina very poor state

Only bearable since not much time was spent there. Positive: Location Negative: Clogged drains, broken tiles, slow WiFi, fan and light switch together, no doorlocks, no ventilation in bathroom, blanket and pillows had a smell.

Great base to explore the area, very near Liverpool Street station. Host was very friendly and sorted out a couple of is Positive: The pictures don’t reflect the current condition of the property especially the bathroom Negative: There is a very steep and narrow, twisty staircase, we were on the second floor and I was with 2 80 year olds, they wouldn’t normally have a problem with stairs but they did with these. The bathroom needed a lot of attention, there was quite a bit of black mould around the shower (I sent a picture to the host), various things not working, we were supplied with 2 fans but only one was working, the toaster didn’t work and neither did the grill, so not good if you were going to have toast for breakfast, the ceiling fan in the bigger bedroom was so wobbly we thought it was going to fall off. The curtain are very thin and you may as well leave them open as it makes no difference. This property is on a main road so with the windows open it is very noisy.

Positive: Not much Negative: Overall, apartment wasn’t the best and didn’t exactly meet expectations. TV didn’t work. Light in one bedroom didn’t work and the fan felt unsafe. Toaster in the apartment didn’t work either and sleep wasn’t comfortable knowing some of these issues, also we were both bitten by not sure what aswell. so we just cut our losses and we decided to cut the trip short
